Colorado is a beautiful state and after visiting for the first time last weekend I hope to return one day soon.
My trip started with a warm welcome from the amazing audience at the Black Rose Acoustic Folk Society. It was a such a magical evening and the venue was simply gorgeous! Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming.
The next day I got to explore the area a bit and visited the “Garden of the Gods”, which is where this picture was taken, and Pikes Peak. Garden of the Gods lives up to its name. The rock formations are stunning and the contrast of the dark green trees against the tan and gray rocks was breathtaking.
