My harp has traveled many places. I have taken it across the country in a car, rolled it around dirt paths at festivals and taken it on the metro to get into down town DC. But this was the first time my harp went on a hike.
I have a new single coming out called “Siren’s Call” and I always want every part of my album to tell the story of the song. From the accompaniment to the album photos.
Initially, we looked over several sites and finally decided to shoot the cover art at Calvert Cliffs State Park. To get to the cliffs we had to haul the cloths, camera and harp over 3 miles. The shot above was taken as a test shot before I got into the clothes for the actual shoot.
The wind was pretty strong that day and I was wondering whether the harp would be able to stand up on its own against the wind. The sand held the harp well and the shoot was a lot of fun! I can’t wait to share this new song with you.
