Harps Across America #16

Since February is a month where we celebrate love it seemed like the perfect time to write about my trip to Philly also known as the city of brotherly love.

Every time I visit Philadelphia I discover more interesting and beautiful sites. On my last visit I was performing at the Philadelphia Christmas Village. It ended up raining that night so the show was sadly cut short and I had to keep the harp in its case for the Harps Across America photo. Despite the rain I got to see a few fun sites before I had to leave.

From my stage at the Christmas Village I could see the top of the clock tower located across the street. Something about the way the lights and mist shown off the tower caught my eye and I tried to capture it as best as I could with my camera phone. It came out a little blurry but I felt the effect was still there.

On our way out of the city I noticed the two cranes you can see in the last picture. Even though the long lights are there to help with planes navigate the Star Wars fan in me felt the red and blue lights looked like two giant lightsabers about to do battle.

Whenever I have a show or post a picture or blog or write a post I am reminded about how much I am loved. I want to thank you all for your friendship and I hope you know how much I treasure you.
